Nikita Sharma receives WMRR Young Professional Scholarship 2023

We are very proud to have received the news that Nikita Sharma has been awarded the Young Professional Scholarship 2023 by the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia. Nikita has been employed at BeneTerra for 4 years since she completed her Masters of Engineering Science (Environmental Engineering). Nikita also has a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering.

Nikita is a key part of our Water Technologies team and has developed a deep understanding and expertise in landfill leachate and wastewater treatment. She leads our R&D effort into areas including chemical reagents and their potential for use in landfills, PFAS treatments and destruction, odour causing compounds and also gets involved with the team around BeneVap operations and improvements, PLC programming, foam fractionator trials etc. She is busy!

Nikita is going to be speaking about landfill leachate management techniques at the upcoming Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia Australian Landfills and Tranfer Stations conference in Melbourne (June21 to 23).
